Traditional Metal Braces Aren’t Your Only Option

Traditional metal braces are incredibly effective for straightening teeth, but they aren’t your only choice. We also have clear or ceramic braces for a more subtle choice and clear aligners like Invisalign that offer complete discretion. All are effective and come in different price ranges. We can find a choice right for you or your child.

Your choice will partially depend on the type of misalignment to be remedied. Invisalign can fix minor orthodontic issues but braces are most effective when there are several, complex problems. Ceramic braces work for some more serious issues but aren’t as durable as metal braces. Your final selection depends on diagnosis, lifestyle, and maturity to follow instructions for specific products.

Invisalign Isn’t for Everyone

Our 11 Dental team is careful about our dental orthodontic recommendations. We don’t recommend Invisalign for children or young teens. Those who use it need to be committed to wearing and maintaining the clear aligners. Older teens and adults do well with Invisalign.

Straight Teeth

You Have Options

The ideal time to get dental orthodontics is between the ages of 9 and 11. Permanent teeth aren’t set and children that age fit in socially with braces. However, anyone of any age can get straight teeth! We serve teens and adults.

When Is The Right Time?

Your Journey to Straight Teeth

Get a consultation. We need to visually see you or your child’s teeth, take X-rays, and talk to you about smile goals. We can give you details on options, treatment length, expectations, and price.
Come to regular appointments for check-ups. An orthodontist will move archwires for those wearing braces and check progress for those with clear aligners.
Get fitted for the option you choose. This involves impressions and installation, depending on your option.

Dental orthodontics improves oral health and hygiene. It’s easier to keep straight teeth clean because of no awkward spaces that trap food and bacteria.

Orthodontic treatment improves bite and jaw alignment. This keeps teeth from being damaged but also reduces jaw pain, discomfort chewing, headaches, and can improve speech.
